Future Walks

Hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny weather this easter w/e.

After our next walk we should be getting back on track as the special events at church will be finished for a while so here's the news of future walks.

Next walk will be on Saturday 30.04.11 meeting at 10.00hrs sharp at the forrester pub Littledean Hill Road at the top of the Ruffitt Littledean. Gay Neep will be leading the walk so any queries please call her on 01594 826633. WQe will be leaving the pub at 10.00hrs sharp.

Sorry to have to tell you but there is a day of prayer at the church in Station Street (see pastor Tim for details) so we are having to cancel the walk arranged for Saturday 09.04.11 at the farm. There will however be a walk on Saturday 23.04.11 meeting at 6 Silver Street, Littledean, GL14 3NN at 10.00hrs sharp hopefully walking cross country to Newnham where we will be able to get refreshments before the return journey.

(As the next due date for a walk falls on our church weekend when no one will be available we be walking on 2 consecutive Saturdays.)

The next walk will be on Saturday 30.04.11 meeting at 10.00hrs sharp venue and walk to be announced.

1)  Saturday 26.03.11

Meeting at 10.00hrs promt at Forest of Dean Community Church, Station Street, Cinderford.
Walk as yet to be decided upon.

2)  Saturday 09.04.11

Meeting at 10.00hrs at Withymoor Farm, Beavans Hill, Kilcott, Newent, Glos, GL18 1PG.
Walk lead by Katrina Cracknell.

My apologies

Due to a leadership meeting at church on Saturday 26.02.11 we are having to cancel our walk for that day.
We will however still be walking on Saturday 12.03.11 meeting at10.00hrs at Phil & Barbs 6 SilverStreet, Littledean, GL14 3NN. We will be leaving at 10.00hrs sharp so please don't be late or you will miss us. 
Once again I apologise for having to cancel but it can't be helped.

Next Walk

Hi Ramblers,
We had a great time on our walk today we went all the way round the top of Cinderford via Edge Hills and through the forest. The weather stayed fine and warmish. And we had a great time of fellowship.
The next two walks are as follows:

First walk is on Saturday 26th February meeting at 10.00hrs sharp in the car park up Plump Hll in the entrance to the Wilderness Road, Mitcheldean. If anyone would like to join us and needs a lift then please contact me (Barb) via the church website http://www.fodcc.org/ with your contact details and I will get back to you. Please come prepared with suitable footwear ie: walking boots and a light jacket in case it rains. Thanks Barb.

Second walk is on Saturday 12th March meeting at 10.00hrs at 6, Silver Street, Littledean, GL14 3NN. We will be going across fields and down country lanes. If anyone would like to join us and needs a lift then please contact me Barb via the church website http://www.fodcc.org/  with you contact details and I will get back to you .  Thanks Barb .

Our next walk is on Saturday February 19th starting at 10.00hrs leaving from Duncan and Linda's 19 Bilson, Cinderford, GL14 2LJ. If you are joining us then please be there by 10.00hrs prompt as if you are there at 10.05hrs we will be gone.
